Volunteering

At Team Sakura, we understand the difficulties faced by young engineers, mechanics, and photographers looking for hands-on experience in the field of motorsport. That's why we've decided to invite students and graduates of any age to volunteer at our events. Depending on your skillset, we will find something for you to get stuck into, from data analysis to mechanic work, and even working with our content team at test days and race events. If this is something that interests you, don't hesitate to get in touch via our email - business@teamsakuraengineering.com.

Get Involved

Whether you're a CAD wizard, exceptional with a ratchet spanner, or an artist behind the camera, we can find something to keep you busy:

Engineering

As an engineer, you'll work alongside our engineering director on our current and potentially future projects. This can involve roles trackside such as race engineer and performance engineer to jobs away from race day where you're more likely to be doing more design and analysis oriented tasks for upgrades packages for our cars

Mechanic Work

As a mechanic, you'll work under our operations lead to ensure things go smoothly in the garage at the track, or visit our home garage to help prep our cars alongside our team.

Photography

As a photographer, you'll work alongside our resident cameraman to document our events on and off track. At test events you are also likely to find yourself working alongside our engineering team doing technical photography of components in testing and areas of interest.

Media

Working under our social media manager, business director, and cameraman, you'll help produce content to go up on our socials at public events.
